Team Summary
Kent Volunteers was formed from a group of regular rental/walk-on players at NRG Paintball as a walk-on/scenario team for players who wanted to play as regularly as circumstances allowed but with no subscriptions/sponsorships/minimum playing requirements. The founder members of the Kent volunteers had been playing for more than 3 years but became aware of the infant UK Scenario scene. The Kent Volunteers made their debut at Operation Bandwagon 2005 at Holmbush.
Kent Rangers were formed shortly afterwards when some members of Kent Volunteers were approached by other Kent based players to form a small team that would be sponsored by RecballSports UK. The Kent Rangers share the Kent Volunteers logo but were structured slightly differently. The Kent Rangers made their debut at Operation Flashpoint 2006 and spent their time recruiting new members and training before playing Staargate and Operation Bandwagon 2 at the end of 2006
The sponsorship ceased by 2007 and members of the team formed their own Company Limited by Guarantee to run both teams and run events such as Invasion 1940 and paintball training sessions.
