The super game in the Super6 series, District 10 saw the Aliens and Humans pitted against each other in an epic battle in which the very future of the Earth was at stake. The whole weekend was jam-packed with different activities and the game itself being enhanced by modern technology, bringing paintball up to the 21st century. The Aliens had a convincing win, beating the Humas into submission and crawling to the corners of the Earth to escape irradication.

Takur Gahr 3 - Insurrection

This was a fantastic and in-depth scenario that I had the fortune to play. I also had the honor of leading the sneakiest faction of them all - The Columbian Cartel. Thanks to many factors such as good radio communication, teamwork, simple savagry and pure luck, our faction won this particular episode in the series.

It's been a while since I looked or even thought about my website. I have been covering all sorts of unique and ground-breaking games, changing career and generally juggling many things at once - It's more fun that way. But I'm really pleased to have some time dedicated to the very neglected Scenario Paintball UK website.

In the mean time, have a read through issue #7 of  the UK Paintball Scene online magazine if you haven't done so already.

Shoreline Events Ltd and BraNewbs Photography are delighted to announce a working partnership agreement.

Effectively immediately, Shoreline customers will have access to the full BraNewbs Photo sets for the rest of the 2010 season at the heavily discounted rate of only £3 - a saving of 70%.

For the 2011 season, Shoreline aim to include the photosets in the ticket price of each event, meaning that all players will have access to the full BraNewbs photoset from each Shoreline event without having to pay a penny extra. This is an exclusive deal and only available to Shoreline customers.

Tim Barnett, Shoreline:
"Writing for a US paintball magazine, I get to see thousands of examples of paintball photography each year. I can honestly say that Andy's images are world class and I've long been a fan of what he does for UK Scenario Paintball. When the opportunity came along to partner with Andy I jumped at the chance. It means that my customers will now get access to the full photoset from each future Shoreline event at a fraction of the normal price and for the 2011 season I'll be looking at trying to incorporate the BraNewbs photosets into the ticket price for each event meaning that players will not have to pay extra. As an exclusive deal, it's something that Shoreline customers can look forward to at future events."

Andy Newberry, BraNewbs Photography:
"Partnering with Shoreline is excellent news for us. It means that our work will reach a much wider audience and with Tim's plans to include the photoset's into the event tickets for next year, everyone who will attend a Shoreline game will get to see our work free of charge. For non-Shoreline events, we will still be attending as many events as we can and our photodiscs from those events can still be purchased in the usual way."

This event was a sort of tester for Shoreline Events. They wanted to try emulate the way games are run in other European countries buy running the event over the course of a whole weekend, offering many extra FREE activities but keeping the cost to that of a traditional scenario game.

Sound good? Well it was damn AWESOME!

Saturday's festivities included several paintball games, Target shooting for prizes (with re-balls and proceeds going to Help For Heroes), Airsoft (which I enjoyed immensly and laughed especially hard when Scoob from Ronin was blasted in the middle of his forehead) and a Mexican-themed dinner.

Sunday saw many respectably-dressed wedding guests don battlepacks, masks, markers and sidearms to fight for either the Bride or the Groom's party. Much silly fun was had by all at a great paintball site (ProZone).

The only way the organisers could even break even was to get many more players booked in and although Shoreline heaped on the extras and a large contingent of players from around the UK attended, it almost wasn't worth their while. Even so, Shoreline is planning on running similar events in the future   ..... the next being The Tippmann Challange.
