Tippmann Sports are delighted to officially launch the first ever Tippmann Challenge in Europe:
The Tippmann Challenge UK
The Tippmann Challenge UK will be a two day paintball festival held at Holmbush Paintball Centre near Gatwick Airport London.
We have been working tirelessly with Tim Barnett of Shoreline Paintball Ltd to create an event that has a festival atmosphere, offers value for money and great paintball. We've confident that we have achieved that.
This event isn't just for Tippmann customers - it's for all paintballers, no matter what equipment you use, what gun you shoot or what your level of experience.
The Tippmann Challenge is designed not only to give experienced paintballers a great weekend, but to also be a welcoming environment for new players to the game. Therefore, rental equipment will be made available for players who do not have their own equipment.
Players can book in online via the main event website http://www.tippmannchallengeuk.com and can choose which faction they wish to play with.
Tickets will be posted out to every player on a 1Gb USB Memory Stick. You will need to print and complete your ticket and bring BOTH your ticket and your USB Memory Stick with you to the event.
The USB Memory Stick will also contain event information (i.e. Player Pack, Game Maps and special offers and information from Traders as well as images and video from previous events). The USB Memory Stick is yours to keep after the event free of charge!
The USB Memory Stick will be used to score points during the game. If you forget your USB Memory Stick, then you will be required to purchase a replacement.
We have a new registration system that we believe should result in players taking less than 10 seconds to register upon arrival at the event.
When you register you will be given a Tippmann Challenge UK playing T-shirt which must be worn during the main Sunday game. Again, this is also yours to keep after the event.
Travelling and Accomodation
We are delighted to team up with Euro Paintball Tours for this event. They will be offering a Luxury Coach Road Trip for attending players where they will transport players to and from the event in style. Starting in Glasgow, the coach will make several collections as it travels down through the UK collecting players on their way to the event. There will be beers, movies, free breakfast and photo sets for all travellers and no doubt a great atmosphere - so your weekend will start as you leave the house. The website also details a range of local hotels for all budget and of course camping is available on-site free of charge.

- Multiple in-game respawns. Never more than 2 mins from a respawn or 4 mins from HPA.
- HPA to 3000psi

- Closing ceremony.
The IMB will be led by Al Murray and he will have a 30 man Elite Protection Force.
The IMB will be made up of:

MOSSAD - Steve 'The Boy' Payne - Ronin
The GSS will be led by Tony Lindsey and he will also have a 30 man Elite Protection Force.

Escobar Cartel - Rob 'ShadowBlade' Peppard - TEAM GBH
Triads - Ryan 'RebelRyan' Grieve - Rebel Renegades
Russian Mafia - James 'SmoothFace' Cullinan - TEAM BZ
Pricing
This entire event will be priced at the same cost as a normal scenario game where you arrive on a Sunday morning and leave later the same day.

This will be weekend long Big Game Festival value - for the same cost of a normal scenario game.
The Objective
The brief that we provided Shoreline was to organise a weekend long paintball festival that offered real tangible value for the attending players and that could be grown over the coming years into a major event. We wanted a relaxed festival type atmosphere followed by an outstanding paintball game.
We're delighted with the plans that Shoreline have submitted for this event which surpass all our expectations. The event is already one of the most talked games across Europe and to date over 60 players have booked in from France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain and even one travelling all the way from Poland. We hope that the UK players will get behind this first Tippmann Challenge in Europe which will be on their doorstep and we look forward to seeing you on the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
The format was trialled by Shoreline at their recent Wedding Day event with enormous success with many of those attending rating the event as the best of the year so far.
