Well ........ the dust has now well and truly settled on some epic closely fought battles!
The forces of CHAOS did in the end claim victory over the IMPERIAL GUARD who gave it their best throughout the day.
hope you all enjoyed the smaller 3rd team of NECRONS too!
Firstly, thanks to Spoony, Titch1987 and also Martello. You all led your respected teams from the front and all reacted well to a few of the curve balls thrown in throughout the course of the day (please accept my apologies as forgot to hand out your trophies will get them to you ASAP).
Also thanks to Syd, Neil and the catering unit of UCZ Newton Abbot.
The site played excellent all weekend, the air was constant all day and the grub laid on at lunch time was top notch and as been mentioned elsewhere, the queue's where minimal at all times.
i think everyone will be in agreement that the medic and marshalling roles provided by GOING POSTAL were to their now renowned excellent standards: marshal's always being in the thick of the action and the medic's on each team exactly where they were required to be!
Mr Wickham from SHORELINE provided some absolutely massive in game booms, all of them happening in and around the players giving them the maximum benefits from the effects. (the water lift at the end by the bridge was my fav )
The samples posted by Bra_Newbs above show that he was on the spot and upto his usual awesome high standard of work. like players, air and paintballs, this guy is now a necessity to events. especially if you want it covered right. cheers bro!!!
Lastly...making their debut at a scenario game was DEMON PAINTBALL. for those of you there at the weekend, you saw how good and professional their set-up was and the service which was provided. without a shadow of a doubt, we will be seeing these boys at more and more events. much thanks for the prizes donated.
The weather was great and the play was as just as intense as the heat...if not hotter!
Thank you all for making the trip down and we'll see you soon!
